Oi-tsuki (lunge punch):  This is a punch that involves a step. This is commonly regarded as the most powerful punch in karate, because the step puts your body weight behind the punch. The punch travels outward from the body in a straight line and finishes with the punch in line with your centre of the body. Start from a position where you have blocked a gedan-barai. Now you must put together Choku Tsuki and the movement in Zenkutsu Dachi.
