Andre Bertel Seminar

Postby Allan Shepherd » Tue Jul 17, 2012 7:01 pm

Hello to all

Just read on Andre Bertel's blog that he is hoping to visit the UK in November to do an open seminar. Having read his interview on TSW I imagine that it will be a sell out. Information to follow on his blog.

Best Regards

Hi all, I am really looking forward to teaching there in the UK. It will be a very special course in Blackpool for anyone who is serious about the karate-do of Tetsuhiko Asai Sensei.

Like everywhere else I teach this course is totally open, so everyone is welcome irrespective of organisation.

Thank you Allan.

It will not be such a physically hard course, but will be very technical and those who attend will hopefully benefit immensely. I hope everyone brings a notebook!

My goal when teaching seminars is to make them beneficial for the attendees "long-term".

I'm really looking forward to meeting many people there. All are welcome, however it will be a case of booking early if people want to attend.

For those interested in Asai Karate/Asai-ha Shotokan-ryu this course will be very special; in particular, for those who have trained with Asai Tetsuhiko Sensei in the past, but also for people who never had the chance.

Kindest regards, Osu
Andre

Hello to all

Forgot to mention that participants so far are from Denmark, Germany, Spain and Switzerland in addition to those from the UK.

Looks like a course not to be missed.

Allan,

Do you have the original note from Michael Barr on times for the course?

I seem to have lost the email.

I am very much looking forward to training with Sensei Andre Bertel, although I am slightly nervous that I will be the only one donning a yellow belt!!lol

Hello Simon

My understanding is the course runs through from 11 to 3 with a number of small breaks during training. Everyone needs to be booked in from 10.30 to ensure prompt start. Sure I mentioned it on forums.
