and i applaud your reminder about real names - tis nice to get to know people especially when they are who they claim to be -

wouldn't it be awful (for example) to let people think yer a Scot when yer actually Welsh. Oh Dear could start a war that could eh?

Welcome Malt3ze. I'm fairly new here myself, and new to karate too. What about yourself? How long have you been practising? (Err, actually, I just realised that I don't know if 'practising' is the right word - studying? training?).

Ha ha, people making jokes about my nickname is the norm too.

I've just received my 'white pyjamas' but the trousers are waaay too long - am I supposed to give myself turn ups or chop the bottom off. (Mods: I know this is going a bit OT, but he mentioned the 'pyjamas' first!).

if your GI is a quality one - cut them off at one inch longer than required (legs and sleeves) then have a professional tailor (it will cost little) turn the extra inch inside and sew on. have them do three lines of stitching equally acroos the in turned inch of material. this is great for stopping the Gi sticking to you when you are moving about.

Welcome to TSW,

It's great to have you here!

I am going to be one of those pain in the backsides now and just ask if you could put your name on your signature.

Many thanks and welcome again,

Shaun
