Manji Kamae or Single whip?

I studied Tai Chi about ten years ago for a few months to taste it...and have not been able to get something out of my head...what do you all think.....

I think it is rather related to one of two postures in UNSU when in ZENKUTSU DACHI one performs KEITOU
