What is the responsibility of an instructor?

Postby jsoulejr » Mon Oct 25, 2010 4:40 pm

Some guy is asking about his back stance, listing all the problems his instructor gave him. I asked if his instructor gave him direction on fixing it. It didn't sound like it to me. Poor guy is researching the web and asking for advice here. HOW can anyone here give advice without seeing what's going on?

To me, it's obvious his instructor failed in his responsibility.

An instructor teaches...guides students to answers and passes on technique and knowledge.....they do not badger, belittle and make fun of a student. Yes, fun is a important part of training, but a MAJOR difference between having a Chuckle WITH your student and Chuckling AT your student.

If a instructor is always telling you what is wrong...chances are...and not saying what is right or how to make it right......they dont know how to fix it!
