As the name of the topic suggests, who will I be seeing at the friendship course that fujicolt is hosting? I honestly can't wait for it ^__^

This is very interesting - having the course now completed! everyone - whom had not attended last year - must have been a bit nervous and here we have one of the youngest (not been before) Alex and (sorry one of the oldest) Bob communicating pre course -

here is what happened on the course (Bob is very senior in Rank to Alex BUT i saw them chatting away and discussing Karate - Bob was very open and Nice and Alex looked totally relaxed and able to ask advise or put things forward in his company! = success

I know without a doubt that if they bump into each other at any Karate events they will both go = HELLO! Job done!

In fact to assure you I am telling the truth

Any comments Bob or Alex?

No need to be sorry Steve, every year that passes now is another bonus  and you are right, I am very nice and it has been commented on before by others  , (except for my children who, affectionately I like to believe, have refered to me as for many years now as "Bob the B*stard).

I didn't see the whole rank thing really come into it as part of that weekend, (even less than I do the rest of the time, which is saying something), we were just a bunch of people there for the same reason, doing the same thing, learning. It was friendy, it was fun and dare I say it given the 14+ hours of training, it was actually quite relaxing, I was well chilled on the way home.

Alex and any of the others that I've tracked down contact info for have already had to open invitation to come down and train with me and "the boy" any time they like at our private sessions, (Tuesday nights if anybody reading is interested  ), again these are nothing about rank but about "what do you fancy working on, we'll see what we can do". I'm not an expert on many things but am always willing to have a damn good try at whatever.

Cheers
