Mayweather v Mosely

Postby Tom O'Brien » Sun May 02, 2010 2:33 am

Wish I could see this one tonight. Mosely has to shake off a year & a half layoff at 38 yrs. old. If he can do that he has a shot. He beat Margarito after being out of the ring for a year but Margarito is not Mayweather. He is 5 yrs. older than Mayweather. He has the power. Mayweather is the consumate boxer though. Mayweather by decision. I just hope it's a good fight. If anybody sees it, please post here.

Thanks,
Tom

I watched it. It was a good fight but once again Mayweather showed he is in a different class. let's hope the fight with Pacquio (sp.?) finally goes ahead, that's a really mouthwatering prospect.

Everyone says he is ducking the 'Pac-man'.

Found this on Yahoo:

By Martin Rogers, Yahoo! Sports May 2, 4:15 am EDT
"Mayweather’s points victory over Shane Mosley at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday night was a masterful display of technical boxing and the work of a brilliant athlete at his peak.
And it was boring as hell."
What do you guys think?
Thanks,
Tom

Most boxing is dull to me, but this fight held NOTHING for me. Money Mayweather is just about as good as his Ego tells him he is. But ducking every great fighter and taking on one that had a year and a bit off is no way to build a legacy, unless your legacy is based on $$$$$$

Mayweather has always bored me, I cannot see him holding Pacquio off , he is a different prospect and never boring.
