It is supposed to be a good film having been entered into a Canadian Film Festival in the competitive category. The director is apparently pretty well known for his work. Apart from Naka Sensei, Okuma Sensei is also a part of the cast in a role as a cop. The JKA site has a link to the trailer.

It's out already - available with chinese subtitles and I think there's a version with German subtitles + I've redone the movie with both English and "Glaswegian" subtitles (seriously) :D

As a movie it's "o.k." - the karate is good and quite realistic compared to most MA films but it ain't gonna win any Oscars....

I have heard similar - hence my comment about the rehearsals being more interesting (technically) to us all
